The iStorage datAshur BT Remote Management (RM) Web Console gives IT administrators complete access control over all datAshur BT USB flash memory drives deployed in their organisation, empowering the IT administrator with a simple and effective solution to the cybersecurity and data protection threats that are increasingly challenging businesses and government organisations.

Browser based

iStorage datAshur BT RM is a browser-based Web Manager that provides remote access control with full audit/audit trail like a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, leveraging secure global cloud services compliant with GDPR, HIPAA and many others
legal requirements. It offers specific functionalities such as the ability to remotely wipe the drive or block user access, restrict the time and locations when and where datAshur BT USB memory sticks can be used, remote unlock and change user password, view user activity logs and many more additional functionalities.

Setting up memory sticks and applying user policies

iStorage datAshur BT RM requires IT administrators to use the iStorage datAshur BT Admin mobile app to provision datAshur BT USB flash drives and apply user policies (iOS, Android). All authorized users of the managed flash drives are required to use the iStorage datAshur BT Managed mobile app (iOS, Android) to manage themselves and the flash drive.
Authenticate. Access rights are updated wirelessly – anywhere and anytime via a FIPS 140-2 Level 3 secured wireless connection between the mobile phone and the datAshur BT USB memory stick.

The iStorage datAshur BT Remote Management Web console gives the IT administrator 1 complete visibility and control over the following:

• Temporarily block or reset datAshur BT users – in case of suspicious activity or if an employee leaves the organization without returning his or her datAshur BT.
• User Location Display – You can view the location of datAshur BT memory sticks via an on-screen map that uses highly accurate GPS instead of an IP address.
• Geofencing (Virtual Boundary) & Time fencing
  – restrict the time and location when and where users can use their datAshur BT. IT administrators can restrict user access by Continent, Country, City, State or Postal Code, start/end time (any time zone) and can select the distance in KM/MI from the chosen location,
  (up to 2 meters). Geofencing (Virtual Boundary) is based on the accuracy of the GPS chip used in users' mobile devices, which is very accurate.
• User login attempts – each login is monitored and recorded, showing the location of the memory stick, the date and time when each user accessed their datAshur BT, and whether the login attempt was successful or not.
• Two-Factor Authentication – To unlock a datAshur BT USB flash drive, each user must enter their own username and password to verify themselves as authorized
  user of the company's Remote Management account. Once credentials are confirmed, users can unlock their datAshur BT using a 7-15 character password or Biometric unlock (Face ID/Facial Recognition, Touch
  ID/Fingerprint and IRIS scanning).
• Remote Unlock – IT administrators can remotely unlock a user’s memory stick using the IT administrator’s credentials. This is a very useful feature if the user has forgotten their password.
• Remote Wipe – Remotely wiping a user device will reset the datAshur BT back to factory default settings (the memory stick will perform a “secure erase” of all user data and credentials). This is an essential functionality if an employee wants to
  organization and still has possession of the datAshur BT USB flash drive or if the flash drive is lost or stolen. Performing Remote Wipe will block all attempts to access the data on the drive.
• Change Password – IT administrators can remotely reset a user password without losing any data stored on the memory stick.
